Purpose: The main objective of this study was to investigate the relationship between information literacy and creativity of students. The sample size of this study consisted of 210 male and female students who were enrolled in the academic year 93-92 and were selected by stratified random sampling method. This study was a cross-sectional survey and for data collecting used a questionnaire based on the standards set forth in 22 indicator outcome following 5 standards of information literacy standards for higher education (ACRL, 2000) and paper pencil scale survey to measure creativity (MPPT) Torrance that for first questionnaire 0/97 and for second questionnaire 0/93 reliability in Cronbach's alpha, was obtained. To analyze the data obtained the Software SPSS20 and Pearson test were used. Based on the findings of this research information literacy components (feel the need of information, the ability to gather information, the ability to evaluate and analyze the information, correct and effective use of information, awareness of ethical and legal issues and access to information) and creativity there is a significant relationship. Conclusion: the results of this study can be used to improve creativity and information literacy skills.
